Powerful, with a gentle silky quality and long lingering aftertaste.<\/span><\/p>\n More<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>i<\/strong>nformation :<\/b><\/p>\n Ch\u00e2teau des Graviers<\/strong> is located in the village of Arsac, this family estate has been prospering through four generations and is a Cru Artisan vineyard. The Cru Artisan classification is only given to independently owned Ch\u00e2teaux that offer consistently high quality wine. Re-established by the French government in 2006, only 44 Ch\u00e2teaux have currently earned the Cru Artisan designation making it even more exclusive than Cru Bourgeois. <\/span><\/p>\n The vineyards extend over 7 hectares and the average age of the vines are 30 years. Beehives and lavender plants are scattered across the vineyards and no chemical herbicide is used on the soil. <\/span><\/p>\n Aged in oak for 12 months<\/strong>, only about 4000 cases<\/strong> are made each year of this ripe, rich Margaux, most of it is sold directly for the Ch\u00e2teau to their mailing list.
