Full bodied with velvety cooked caramel aromas and a hint of cherry.

Fresh Ground (medium Course) – ideal for cafetiere or filter coffee. We also use it with our AeroPress for a beautifully clear and smooth taste.

Beans for our Old Fort blend come from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms in Honduras, Guatemala, Brazil and India. The Indian Beans (20%) are Grade A Robusta to give you that kick you need for early morning and midday slumps.

Old Fort is named after the “Fort of Maryborough” built in the 16th century in the centre of where Portlaoise now stands. Part of the walls and a corner tower still stands and a fantastic 3 day festival happens every year in the Old Fort Quarter. Surely that deserves a coffee blend to be named after it too :)
