A deep, luscious, Pomerol colour but with ripe red berries on the nose with a hint of chocolate. The palate moves towards the darker jammy fruits that the colour indicates, with a hint of liquorice and vanilla. A juicy, round wine with smooth tannins and a clean refreshing finish.

Located west of Pomerol, the vineyard of La Faurie Maison Neuve extends across the gravel soils of the region. Through the years this wine has won many, many awards and the wine reflects the passion Michel Coudroy has for his wines and his wine making.

 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
