Dios Baco Oloroso Sherry
€32.50
Deep mahogany fading through to yellow hints. A nose full, rich and fragrant of raisin, walnut, orange peel and a hint of old barrels. Dry on the palate with savoury nutty notes and dried fruit followed by terrific length.
More information :
This fine Oloroso has spent 18 years ageing through a solera bought by Jose Paez Morilla from Palomino and Vergara in 1992. It is remarkably old and remarkably good.
Sherry is a fortified wine from Andalucía on the southern coast of Spain. It reached its apex as a British favorite by the 1870s, and it became one of the first protected Spanish appellations in 1933 with the establishment of a Consejo Regulador. Jerez, the hottest wine region in Spain and the home of Sherry production, is located within the coastal province of Cádiz, flanked by the Guadalquivir River to the northwest.
