In the Dordogne area, South West of France grows a rare and beautiful purple flower grown in a rich terroir. This rich terroir gave birth to a unique wine. And it took the name of this flower… Frétillères.

They are 4th generation family winemakers with an Irish connection. Anita Ryan from Monasterevin in County Kildare married Sylvain Rigal, who is taking over the Winemaking from his father. Anita plays an active part in growing the grapes and running the vineyard.
