Cline Cellars is owned by Nancy Cline. Bot her grandfathers were from Ireland, Gregory Laughlin in County Cork and Bunting from Lurgan, Co Armagh. Both emigrated around 1878 and settled, respectively in Berkley California and Kansas City
Pinot Noir from Sonoma County, California. The wine is aged for 5-10 months in 40% new French oak (medium toasted) as well as a small amount of American and Eastern European oak.
This is a food-friendly wine that can stand up to lamb or roast beef yet won’t overpower lighter fish or pasta dishes. Absolutely gorgeous with Charcuterie
